Celebrity Cricket League is a peculiar panorama of collection of icons of Indian film stars joining together to show their sportsman spirit. A total of six teams representing various film industries are taking part in the second edition of celebrity cricket league 2012. The teams for the second edition of the CCL are Telugu Warriors representing Telungu film industry, Kerala Strikers representing Malayalam film industry, Mumbai Heroes representing Bollywood, Karnataka Bull Dozers representing Kannada film industries, Bengal Tigers representing Tamil film industry and Chennai Rhinos representing Tamil film industry. Bengal Tigers and Kerala Strikers were not present i the first season of the CCL held in 2011.

Kerala celebrity cricket team Ammas Kerala Strikers led by mohanlal will play against Telugu celebrity cricket team Telugu Warriors on 28th January 2012. The match will be played at Bangalore international stadium. The match will commence at 2 pm. Both teams have won 1 matches each in the second edition of CCL T20. Malayalam film Industry is also taking part in the second edition of the celebrity cricket league matches. The kerala (Mollywood) celebrity cricket team is led by Mollywood Mega Star Mohan Lal. Team Ammas Kerala strikers consists of players representing Malayalam film industry led by super star Mohanlal. The team is jointly owned by the Malayalam film super star Mohanlal, film director Priyadashan's wife Lissy priyadarshan and Chennai based entrepreneur P M Shaji. Kerala strikers had produced a good team with a aim to clinch the CCL T20 2012 title. They have also done well practice and had played many practice matches with major teams in Kerala and abroad.
